This class is a slower, more mindful and gentle version of our ultimate core strengthening TRX suspension system class. Great for the individual who would like to maintain strong muscles and bones! It will involve light strength training for all major muscle groups in the body, including abdominals, back, arms and legs. There will be options given for most injuries and special conditions. At least 6 weeks of Mat Pilates is recommended prior to taking this class. Participants should be able to get onto the floor and back up again relatively easily.
Pilates Reformer for Back Care (Flexion Free)
This class is for individuals who love the strength the reformer can provide, without the flexion. Maybe your care provider has restricted your range of motion to include a flexion-free workout routine? This class is for you! An orientation is required before entering this class to make sure it is right for you. Contact us for more information.
Moderate Pilates Reformer
A more challenging option for reformer students who have done several weeks of our Essential Reformer or have done reformer previously at another location. Please schedule an orientation or contact the studio prior to joining class. This class is geared toward those without a lot of physical limitations.
Simply Barre is a fusion of Barre, Pilates, Strength Training, Dance and Cardio fused together in a lightly choreographed routine. A very fun class, excellent for leg, ankle and hip stability and strength. There is also a strong arm and Pilates core component. Please call us or visit us for an orientation if you are not sure if Barre is right for you.
Gentle & Relaxation Yoga
This class is for those with injuries and conditions that may not allow them to enjoy a faster-paced, flowing yoga class. We will breathe, focus on strength, balance, and flexibility. There will be a strong focus on breathing and deep relaxation.
Essential/Moderate Pilates Reformer
This class will include both exercises from the Essential and Moderate Pilates Reformer repertoire and modifications will be provided for those who need them.
Moderate Machine Xtraining
Moderate Machine Training defines your body by combining Pilates machines, Pilates on the foam roller, Pilates on the stability ball, and Pilates moves on the TRX.
Essential Pilates Reformer
Want balance? The Pilates reformer is the best way to learn about how to move in an efficient and balanced manner, preventing injury and growing your mind/body awareness. This class is strongly recommended prior to trying other options like Moderate yoga or Pilates, Barre or TRX. A great option for relieving low back pain! Please register for a new student orientation first if you are new to our studio.
